Mission Statement create and supporting off the grid community with a service focus on education and healing with Acupuncture. Here is a rough draft of my vision statement:
• To create and participate in a thriving example of off the grid green living community
( self sustaining)
• To hold space available for hosting groups and events -- educating the public about green lifestyles and offer health professionals updates in healing practices.
3. To offer a certificate program in green building and a continuing education program for Nurses, Acupuncturists and Doctors.
• To have an Acupuncture based healing clinic for day use and extended healing retreats.
• Ultimately to offer a wheel chair accessible in patient rehabilitation program.
6. To host personal and group healing retreats for detoxification, weight loss and more.
7. To operate a retail and education center for the public focusing on green and off the grid lifestyle concerns.
8.To grow and produce our own food and power, and teach others to do the same
9.To hold a space to offer farmers markets, swap meets, cultural and musical events.

Deepa Gleason Lac, RN, MMQ, MTCM
Deepa has dedicated her life to the study of Health and the Human body.
Deepa's dedication has resulted in a deep understanding of multiple theories of Health Care that she applies while devising specific tailored treatment plans for each patient.
With almost 20 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine, Deepa went back to school to fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming an Acupuncturist and Herbalist.
Holding Masters Degrees in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Medical QiGong she went on to become Nationally Certified in Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine, as well as a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of California.
She also spent time as an intern on an Organic Farm and is skilled in Western Herbology.
She trained in making herbal healing products completely, from seed to shelf.
Deepa became a certified massage therapist while attending UC Davis, and has since been an Instructor and Director of a Massage School.
Recently Deepa began studying with the world famous acupuncturist Dr Ming Qing Zhu.
He is the master acupuncturist we can thank for Ram Dass being able to walk and talk after his large stroke a few years ago.
Dr. Zhu has developed his own unique style of scalp acupuncture that is very effective for all manner of conditions.
Deepa finds that the Dr.Zhu style acupuncture compliments her years of QiGong study to provide rapid and dramatic results.
Deepa coordinates and combines all treatment elements to achieve your desired results.
Deepa will discuss the findings with you and together we'll devise a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. It is during these discussions that Deepa explains what she is dong, what she has found, and why.
It is here that Deepa hopes you will ask questions, because thorough patient involvement and understanding will create a more successful treatment outcome.
All the treatment elements in Chinese Medicine are coordinated to achieve the desired results! Deepa believes that patient involvement and education are essential elements to a successful treatment!
